Psych explorers Moon Duo bring their Lightship installation to Metronome.
Recently released at the end of 2019, the new album 'Stars Are the Light' puts dance at the heart of an expansive nexus that connects the body to the stars, illustrated exquisitely on the album’s sparkling title track.
Self-described as ‘a weirdo rock and roll band’, for Moon Duo music is a conversation between artist and creator, performer and audience. Taking huge inspiration from Silver Apples and Suicide – the pair have been making psych electronica since 2009.
Their live shows harness the power of repetition and physical response: wind chimes meet machine-style guitar to create a kind of obscure disco that’s always evolving, never static.
