Felix M-B most recently released his debut album, ‘Chunk’ on Phlexx Records.
His full-band headline show at The Chapel will be his first Nottingham gig since the release.
Felix writes songs with roots in the folk tradition, telling stories which unravel through moments of undressed realism.
"Chunk is brilliant from start to finish, an album that will charm you and make you smile one minute then make you well up the next." - New Music Social.
"Felix M-B has been compared with everyone from Bob Dylan and John Martyn to Seth Lakeman and Will Oldham and it's easy to see why on this wistful number” - Dom Gourlay (Under the Radar / Drowned in Sound)
Benjamin Spike Saunders
Benjamin Spike Saunders wants to do standup, but he’s too much of a coward. Instead, Benjamin decided to stick to what he knows: button collecting, ant wrangling, and writing music in his room.
‘Tonsil Wife’ is his first ill-fated shot at stardom; a collection of songs written and recorded in Benjamin’s room over the last few years via whatever microphones he could get his hands on - but mostly via his phone.
Snapshots and sketches, the fragility of the songs often make it feel like you’re peeping through a floorboard crack into Benjamin’s bedroom.
Now can you all please stand, as we join together Benjamin Spike Saunders and his Tonsil Wife together for a life of eternal bliss.
